Super Bowl Week: Day 2

Good day folks, Day 2 of Super Bowl Week, and Ms. Sparkles (sadly she's a Carolina Panthers fan, but try not to hold it against her) decided to hook us up with her very own preview. In case you were wondering, my preview comes at the end of the week. Enjoy!

Growing up I knew two things about football...The Colts and The Saints, my father's two favorite teams.  In elementary school I wore Johnny Unitas sneakers and remember cuddling up in a Saints blanket.  Superbowl Sunday is nearing and the two teams I have grown to love are battling it out for the title of 2010 Superbowl Champs.  Hailing from the deep South, from the home of Mardi Gras, the world renowned French Quarter, and last but not least Lil Wayne...The New Orleans Saints have recharged their batteries.  Coming back from the unsuccessful 2008-2009 season I was not expecting to see the Saints come through and make it to the Superbowl.  The Saints have come back to claim their chance at winning the Vince Lombardi trophy for the first time.  On the other hand are the Indianapolis Colts, a team with a rich history, a great program, and an amazing quarterback.  Peyton Manning is back for another opportunity to add another Superbowl ring to his finger.  There was only ONE quarterback in the league who threw for more touchdowns than Manning, and it was Drew Brees.  I think this is the Superbowl we have all been waiting for.  The two best teams in the country competing to become Superbowl champions.  A great match-up.  Both teams are extremely talented and have pushed through another season to have the honor of playing in this final game.   As a "member" of the NFC South, I am proud to support the New Orleans Saints and am patiently waiting for their victory on February 7th, 2010.  Yes, I am a Saints fan, but I truly believe they are the better of the two teams. The Saints are finally going to get the Superbowl victory they deserve.  The city of New Orleans deserve the win, as do the fans, and the team.  Final score, New Orleans: 21, Colts: 17.  On another note, the halftime show will be epic as THE WHO rock out in Miami.  So now I leave you with my final thoughts...GO SAINTS and a special shout out to my boo #25 REGGIE BUSH!
